Phase II Environmental Site Assessments

Based on the findings of a Phase I ESA and depending on whether further assessment is required to confirm the presence of petroleum and/or hazardous contaminants, Integra Environmental professionals will conduct a more intrusive assessment or Phase II ESA. Prior to conducting a Phase II ESA, Integra Environmental makes sure to understand the goals of the client and project.

The scope of work for a Phase II ESA per the current ASTM E-1903 can be customized per our client’s objectives of inquiry and associated budgets to meet the scrutiny of the various stakeholders involved including lenders, regulators and attorneys. Our licensed environmental professionals have completed hundreds of phase II ESAs at all types of sites and geologic settings and have analytically investigated for a variety of contaminants from agrichemicals and petroleum products to hazardous and unknown wastes

With an in-house Geoprobe drill rig as well as other sampling and monitoring equipment, Integra Environmental process for performing a Phase II ESA investigation may include the following:

• Soil boring advancement and/or monitoring well installation to obtain samples
• Subsurface soil and groundwater sampling and laboratory analysis following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection or jurisdictional environmental agencies
• Ground Penetrating Radar investigations to assess buried structures such as drums, cattle dip vats, tanks, etc.
• Sampling structures such as storm drains, septic tanks, drain fields and soakage pits
